Tipton Marine Surveys is located in Lenoir City, Tennessee about twenty miles west of downtown Knoxville. Our normal service area includes all of eastern Tennessee, Southwestern Virginia, the western Carolina’s, southern Kentucky, northern Georgia and Alabama.James R. Tipton is a member of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors® (SAMS®), the American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC), the International Association of Marine Investigators and a graduate of Chapman's School of Seamanship (Yacht & Small Craft Survey).
