Island Yacht Club

IYC was founded in 1970 by a group of sailboat racers who wanted to offer the best possible value in a yacht club. We are an all-volunteer, non-profit club open to anyone interested in sailing, power boating and on-the-water activities. IYC members enjoy reciprocal privileges at yacht clubs throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. IYC also extends a warm welcome to yacht clubs that grant reciprocity to our members. While we presently do not have a clubhouse, we are continuing our search for a new home. Both in an online and in-person setting, our focus is on learning and racing together; we are for boaters who seek camaraderie and fellowship without pretense.
